extraordinary adventure Wonderful safaris and good customer care. Had an extraordinary adventure. From the moment we set foot in the vast landscapes of Tsavo, their expertise and dedication to wildlife conservation were evident. The guides were not only knowledgeable but also passionate, enhancing our encounters with majestic animals. Review of our city on Mombasa tour Bevare of this company!!! The tour we took of Mombasa was the worst tour of our lives Non punctual, non knowledgeable guide, dirty car with non working air conditioner, we spend most of the time in traffic while our guide was trying to navigate the streets and doing the role of a driver as well(we were promised a driver and a guide for this tour) At the end we so very little. Have no idea what Mombasa is really all about, and are very very disappointed! This tour operator should not be in business at all since they are misleading people by promising to provide services they couldn’t

Very Impressed I was very impressed with the team at Asaray Tours. They took exceptionally good care of us on our tour of Mombasa. In addition to sharing their ample knowledge with us, they were very attentive to our needs and went out of their way to accommodate our wishes.

Our awesome Safari Trip We took a 14 day safari trip through Kenya and Tanzania . We were 4 couples. We all are retired and have travelled all over the globe. In planning our safari trip, we looked at a prominent tour company, but the dates we were interested in were sold out. Figured well next year, till a daughter of one of the couples suggested we contact AsaRay tours based in Kenya. A little bit hesitant in working with someone that far off. Looking back, choosing AsaRay as our tour planner was the smartest decision we made. Ester Omache, the owner of the business worked with us. Service outstanding. I would send a note in the evening from the US and when I got up next day have an answer. We communicated with email, WhatsApp and within minutes would have answers. She arranged the trip in 2 safari Vans that seat 7 each. So lots of room. In the Kenya portion of the trip the drivers told us they were employees of AsaRay and the company owned the vans. They were fairly new. In Tanzania she made sure that the company she worked with had fairly new vehicles and we one of the drivers that we got was the same one that our friends daughter had when she did her safari 8 some years ago! I would give Esther and AsaRay an A plus on all counts Thanks Esther for a memorable Trip!

Awesome vacation - great service Esther is heaven sent. She helped my family plan a Zanzibar-Mombasa-Tsavo-Naivasha-Nakuru vacation that was nothing but amazing. She was very attentive and catered to all our requests. Her rates were very economical as well. I recommend using her for all your African safaris.

My Safari Trip in Kenya with Asaray Tours. Our Safari Tour to Kenya: Nov 15 , 2013 Asaray Tours was recommended by a friend from Singapore and when we contacted by email from USA the response was within hours. All our correspondence and planning was done through email and Esther's reply was prompt and informative. After she heard what we wanted to see and do in Kenya, a tour package was put together with an estimate. We made a few changes. A final itinerary with exact cost was emailed to us with a method of payment. Day 1: Nov 15, 2013 We arrived in Nairobi by Emirates and got our Entry VISA and collected our bags and walked out of the lobby; saw our names displayed by a young man (Driver and Guide) who approached us even before we spotted him. Yes this is Abdallah ( a young man with a perpetual smile) who never left us until he took us back to the airport. He speaks good English and is polite and friendly. Most of all he is very knowledgeable about Kenya. Well done Asaray for employing the best. We had a long drive (Traffic through Nairobi is horribly slow). After 2 hours we reached our Hotel (Mvuli House), we specifically asked for a not so prominent Hotel. Room was adequately comfortable and no mosquitoes!!!. There is a nice garden dining area and the food was good BUT it took a long time to arrive ;-(.. Passion Fruit Juice is very refreshing and we ordered local food like ‘Githeri’ and lamb stew….most of the local food will have spinach/ kale, Maize (corn), Potato, Beans, chicken, lamb. Salad is thinly sliced tomato, onion and chilli…Beer: ‘Tusker’ is my favorite; ‘White Cap’ is the next. We were met by Esther, our tour Organizer in the evening, who went over the tour details and Abdallah said he will meet us at 8 am the next day for our first Safari trip. Day 2: After Breakfast (American) and a pack-lunch of sandwiches prepared by the kitchen staff, we left Nairobi by a Safari Van (Toyota 8 seater with a safari top that opens as a Pope-mobile ;-)). After a 2 hours drive we reached Lake Nakuru National Park. We saw groups of Zebra, Buffalo, Antelope, Topi, tortoise, Wild Beast, Jackal, Gazelle, Impala, Sterling Bird, Guinea Fowl, and Flamingos. We reached Flamingo Hill Camp for lunch. Excellent lunch. Lots of fruits and Sandwich and Passion Fruit Juice and Tusker. Took a shower to get the dirt and dust off our hair and cloths … yes the safari drive is not Highway driving. We took a nice hot shower and slept for a few hours. Our Tent suit was inside a large thatched house and very very comfortable bed and nicely appointed. Extremely clean room !. Close to sunset we went for another Game drive and saw all those animals again and more. The site from Baboon Cliff was really worth it. You can see the complete Rift Valley from that point. Watch out for a ‘loner Rogue’ baboon. Blink of an eye he was inside our Van and we have no way to escape ) ; -(. He was looking for food inside and jumped in through the open roof !!!. Abdallah was quick to open the side door and chased him out. After long two minutes I exhaled!!!. After dusk we drove back to Flamingo Hill Camp. It is an amazing Resort. Very High Thatched house and inside a lounge with comfy sofas and a nice bar and Dining area. Food was excellent and Buffet style. Bar was fully stocked and reasonable. Coffee was the very best…yes Kenyan coffee ask for Coffee robusta) Massage, swimming pool and hot tub facilities available. The grounds are like a forest and on the other side of the fence we can watch Buffalo and Impala and Zebra grazing !!. We had a very restful sleep and ‘No Mosquitoes’. We had tons of ‘Deet’ with us!. No need for it. The bed was warm when we got into it (it was a chilly night)….we could not find any heat source in the house!! What a surprise two hot water bottles were cleverly hidden between blankets. That kept us comfortably warm all night. We got up very early in the morning before daybreak and drove to the plains for watching Cheetah / Lion feeding photo ops. Well we were not lucky. We did see killed buffalo though!. We came back to our camp for breakfast and packed and left for our long drive to Eldoret. We reached Moi University and stayed in Indiana House for the night. Day 3: I spent the whole day in the University giving a lecture and training technicians and Graduate students on cancer diagnosis. My wife spent the day in an orphanage (Patty’s Orphanage, Eldoret) helping them plan an income stream for sustainability. In the evening we drove back to Nairobi, a long 4 hour drive. We stayed in Mvuli House overnight. Day 4: Started early in the morning and drove 3 hours to Amboseli National Park. This is a semi dried up lake on one side and a flooded lake shore on the other side. We saw all the BIG 5 animals of Africa here. (Elephants, Lion, Rhino, Hippo, Giraff and all the others like Buffalo, Zebra, Wild Hog, Wild Beast, Waterbuck, Velvet Monkey, Dik dik, Ostrich, Thompson Gazelle, Kob, and Reticulated Giraffe and birds like Flamingos, Guinea Fowl, Saddle Billed Stork, Ibis, Grey Crowned Crane, colorful Sterling). Then we met some Maasai tribes showing us their jewelry near the Park Gate. We requested to visit their village and they gladly obliged (for a fee). We had a great time with them and they are very friendly people. When we reached their village the village leader gathered all the men and women folks to perform a welcome dance for us. My wife and I participated also. There was a jumping competition …. I could not even jump half of how high these Maasai men jumped ;-((. Maasai medicine men gave a presentation of his herbs and how he treats his people against Malaria, knee and hip pain, stomach ache, de-worming and a pick-me-up for men since they practice polygamy ;-)). They showed their hut and cattle and goats. A young Maasai showed his skill in starting a fire!. Then the women and men spread their crafts and jewelry items on a piece of cloth in front of them and we went around and selected items we liked and gave it to the leader. Finally a combined price was agreed and we paid the leader. We bought original Maasai wraps and some jewelry that are made by them ( China has not send their goods to them yet ;-)). We returned to Mvuli House for the night. Day 5: In the morning we visited Elephant Orphanage where baby elephants that became orphaned due to the activities of poachers are housed and cared for by a non-profit organization. It is sad Elephant Orphage gets lots and lots of money and Patty’s Children’s Orphanage is functioning in a very poor condition and no assured funding. We packed and checked out of the hotel. Then we went to the Market. This Market was originally to sell Maasai goods only. However over time other Kenyans also sell their products here. This market meets at different sites on different days. You need to bargain, yes really B A R G A I N. We got some cloths and jewelry again and a few trinkets. Good ebony crafts are cheap here. By noon Abdallah drove us to the Nairobi airport and we bode farewell to Kenya and flew back to California. What a long flight. We were like zombie for two days Big Thanks to Asaray Tour staff for giving us a vacation to remember. Your arrangements were flawless and superb. . great service the company was recommended to me by a colleague. the support before, during and after the trip was excellent. prompt replies and complete information. organization of the tour was excellent, we went to Masai Mara by air and stayed at Serena lodge, on the way back for one night in Nairobi we used a budget hotel, which met the expectations. me and my 7-year old son were very happy with the company and the tour. highly recommended and a reliable company.

Wonderful safari. Our family went several times on safari with Asaray, and we are overall very satisfied with the way they are offering and accommodating the safari. Abdallah the driver/guide does his work brilliantly and is always in a good mood! Very patient and always willing and able to give you that extra explanation or information. The safaris are always good organised and the accommodations are always of good quality. Our family has been on many safaris already but we will continue to go with Asaray tours in the future. We highly recommend Asaray tours. Fam. De Wit, Netherlands.
